Before breast-breast aesthetic operations, the plastic surgeon should prioritize not only his knowledge and experience but also his own artistic direction and vision, based on the form and size desired by the patient.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgeries (e.g. after breast removal in breast cancer or in cases of developmental breast failure) is to achieve a symmetrical and aesthetically acceptable result and at the same time to make the individual feel better with his\/her appearance. Breast-breast aesthetics <a href=\"https:\/\/www.drfatihirmak.com\/en\/breast\/breast-augmentation\/?lang=tr\"><strong>breast augmentation<\/strong><\/a>breast lift, breast lift, breast reduction and breast reconstruction. In this article, I will mostly <strong>breast augmentation<\/strong> and I will try to give information on lifting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Breast aesthetics<\/strong> Among the reasons for applying for surgeries; reasons such as being able to carry the clothes in the best way, looking beautiful with the body under the clothes, being comfortable during the beach season can be counted. In our country, breast aesthetic operations are very popular, especially after the technological developments in breast prosthesis in recent years.<br \/>\n<strong>Breast augmentation<\/strong> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.drfatihirmak.com\/en\/breast\/gogus-diklestirme\/?lang=tr\"><strong>breast lift<\/strong><\/a> are often intertwined surgeries. <strong>Breast augmentation<\/strong> operations, the breast will also be lifted to some extent. If the degree of sagging is low, lifting with the dual plan (double plan; placing prosthesis under both muscle and breast tissue) breast augmentation technique alone may be sufficient. If a breast that is very saggy in shape is only enlarged, it will result in larger but more saggy breasts. Therefore, in women who need augmentation, if there is also sagging, simultaneous lifting procedures should also be applied. Since the prosthesis we will use in women with more breast tissue will be easily covered with breast tissue, the possibility of the prosthesis being felt and visible from the outside will be low. However, if a woman with small breasts is augmented with a large prosthesis, the prosthesis is likely to be both felt and visible from the outside.<\/p>\n<p>Another issue to be considered is the width of the person's rib cage. This situation varies according to each individual. It would be the best choice to reach a joint decision with the person after the examination.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Breast prosthesis<\/strong> is placed in four different planes in the breast;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Under the breast gland<\/li>\n<li>Dual plan (half gland half muscle)<\/li>\n<li>Under the muscle fascia<\/li>\n<li>Under the muscle<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The plan to place the prosthesis varies in each patient. For example, in a woman with insufficient breast tissue, it may not be the right choice to place the breast prosthesis under the breast gland, or in active athletes who use the chest muscle, the plan under the muscle may not be a suitable area.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Postoperative period:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The operation usually does not exceed 1-2 hours, and discharge is usually the next day, provided that the patient rests for the first few days. The rate of complaints may vary depending on the surgical technique and placement of the prosthesis. For example, in prostheses placed under the muscle, there may be mild pain with arm movements for the first few days. Showering is allowed the day after surgery. Stitches do not need to be removed, swimming is allowed after 3-4 weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Weight bearing should be restricted for the first 1 month.
